We are seeking an experienced IT Product Lead to join the Digital Technology & Change Leadership Team at our Solihull office on a hybrid basis. In this role, you will shape and implement the nPower Business Solutions (nBS) strategy to improve the digital experience for customers and colleagues. You will support our transition towards a Product-led DevOps model, contributing to our operational capabilities as we expand. This leadership position is crucial in developing our new operating model focused on a product-oriented approach. nBS is the I&C division of E.ON, a market leader in energy retail, serving approximately 30,000 customers and 250,000 meter points with the goal of becoming the top B2B energy supplier in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a portfolio of IT products aligned with customer journeys and business objectives.
* Be a member of the Digital Technology & Change Senior Leadership Team.
* Mentor Product Managers in defining roadmaps, prioritising backlogs, and delivering value.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities, set priorities, and support business growth through product outcomes.
* Monitor product performance metrics and report to senior leadership.
* Support the transition to a product operating model by identifying gaps and mentoring teams.
* Champion Agile and DevOps practices to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
* Manage the product portfolio budget, up to £20m annually.
* Oversee third-party IT suppliers.
Candidate Requirements
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams or a product portfolio.
* Proven track record in IT Product Management with a customer-focused approach.
* Deep understanding of product management principles, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience working with IT suppliers, including SaaS providers.
Desirable Skills
* Experience aligning products with customer journeys or business capabilities.
* Knowledge of financial management for product portfolios.
* Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner.
