REGULATORY CO-ORDINATION ANALYST

Our client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Regulatory Co-Ordination Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to bridge the gap between the traditional 1st line of defence business operational functions and the 2nd line functions such as Regulation and Compliance. With a competitive salary of £60,000 and based in the vibrant city of London, this position provides a unique chance to contribute to the operation of periodic and ad-hoc tasks, while also offering opportunities for professional growth and development.
What you'll do:
1. Provide ongoing analysis and mapping of regulatory control frameworks within the Trading division
2. Assist in the operation of periodic and ad-hoc tasks, providing regular updates on workflow and priorities
3. Facilitate good communication and information flow by coordinating between different functions
4. Work with internal audit and compliance teams through their internal monitoring programmes
5. Provide constructive challenge of operational arrangements and processes
6. Support delivery of objectives within the Trading division, including launch of new initiatives and trading products
7. Support oversight arrangements relating to administration of benchmarks
8. Develop training material for new and existing staff
9. Promote the Regulatory Coordination team function within the business
10. Monitor developments in the regulatory environment and assist in implementing changes accordingly
What you bring:
1. Experience or interest in financial market regulations and FCA rules
2. Knowledge of working within a UK regulated entity such as a bank, trading venue or broker
3. Compliance or regulatory background is desirable
4. Knowledge of BMR and MiFID is advantageous
5. Experience with regulatory audits or compliance reviews is beneficial
6. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
7. Proactive approach to problem-solving with excellent organisational skills
