Our client is an award-winning organization that is growing rapidly, with wonderful offices and benefits based in Farnborough. They are seeking an adept Conveyancing Assistant to support the Fee Earners in handling a high volume of transactions.
This role will be working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm, based within the firm's modern office in Farnborough. The salary for the Conveyancing Assistant role is up to £35,000, dependent on experience, plus a discretionary bonus and fantastic benefits.
Main responsibilities for the Conveyancing Assistant role include:
1. Communicating with clients and stakeholders via email and telephone.
2. Reviewing searches against records.
3. Collaborating with Fee Earners on client files to progress files as smoothly and quickly as possible.
4. Processing or directing initial inquiries.
5. Handling post-completion matters, including registrations.
6. Creating new matters and issuing client instruction documents.
7. Contacting third parties via telephone and/or email at the request of fee-earning lawyers and their assistants.
8. Drafting and dispatching documents.
Skills required for the Conveyancing Assistant role include:
1. Conveyancing experience required.
2. Team player.
3. Excellent IT skills.
4. At least 5 GCSEs grade 9 to 4 including Maths and English.
5. Great communication skills.
6. Able to work to deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
