We seek to appoint an enthusiastic Assistant Head of Finance to join our highly committed and professional team. The purpose of the role is to work in partnership with the Head of Finance to support the Executive Management Team and Principals by providing financial information, financial management and legal compliance to ensure the overall financial security, prosperity and long-term sustainability of Claires Court School. You will be a catalyst for leading improvements within the finance team adapting to the changing business environment and the school's emergent needs. This full-time post is required as soon as possible. Salary c£60,000 To be successful in this role, you must: Be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience. Have strong interpersonal skills with a clear focus on customer service and an ability to inspire confidence to aid senior management in making financial decision making. Have a desire and the skills to support and develop the finance team. Have a sound knowledge of accounting standards and proven experience in financial reporting and in the preparation of management accounts, forecasts and statutory accounts. Be able to advise on Taxation and VAT matters Have Ability to understand, interpret and communicate financial data at all levels of an organisation.
