Our client is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to bridge the gap between customers, product teams, and technical delivery. If you thrive on turning complex requirements into real-world solutions—and enjoy being the go-to person for both stakeholders and engineers—this role’s for you.
What you’ll do:
* Be the customer-facing lead for requirements gathering, design reviews, and integration (onsite & remote).
* Translate customer needs into clear, testable software requirements—getting it right first time.
* Ensure solutions meet both operational and technical demands, guiding cross-functional teams.
* Own process improvements in systems engineering and keep requirements baselines razor-sharp.
* Balance multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment (ATC/ATM experience is key).
You’ll be a great fit if you:
* Know systems engineering inside out—requirements, architecture, stakeholder management.
* Have deep ATC/ATM operational knowledge (protocols, procedures, industry standards).
* Can dissect high-level needs into actionable specs for devs and testers.
* Are pragmatic, adaptable, and happy collaborating globally (some travel required).
* Work 3 days/week in Southbourne (flex for customer visits).
