Salary: £36,630 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of £40,893

About the role:
The principal responsibility of the Mobile Device Examiner is to provide South West Regional Forces with an evidential Data Investigation capability, working collaboratively to the required international standards and Forensics Code of Practice.
Mobile Device Examiners utilise a broad range of complex and technical equipment to forensically examine digital devices, including mobile telephones, memory cards, GPS devices, and other submissions as appropriate. Most examinations will be undertaken at the request of the Investigating Officer to provide intelligence and evidence to prosecute offenders and maintain the integrity and continuity of evidence with subsequent presentation at judicial proceedings.
