Main duties of the job
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Deliver the healthy child programme at four levels as delegated by the Specialist Community Public Health Practitioner (SCPHN)
* Support leadership and delivery of a quality function (such as, service user experience and undertake supervision as per HCRG Care Group guidelines)
* To be trauma aware and understand the principles of a trauma informed approach to care and the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences on children, young people and adults
* Ability to recognise health needs for individual clients and situations in relation to the health of children, young people, individuals and families, in complex situations, identifying situations where referral for support from SCPHN is necessary

Ideal Candidate:
You will:
* Be a registered nurse with NMC registration and a passion for improving the lives of children and families within the local community.
* Be experienced and have an understanding of health promotion / public health activities is desirable
* Ability to act independently as well as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
* Have a valid UK driving licence, with access to a car for work purposes.
