We are seeking a dedicated individual for a 12-month contract, working 45 hours per week. Job Purpose The MICE Executive (Reactive) will be responsible for managing incoming inquiries for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events (MICE), ensuring seamless coordination, and converting inquiries into successful bookings. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, maintain excellent client relationships, and work collaboratively with internal departments to deliver outstanding events. Key Responsibilities Sales & Client Management Respond promptly to MICE inquiries via email, phone, or other channels, providing accurate information about the hotels facilities, services, and packages. Prepare tailored proposals, contracts, and quotations to meet client needs and expectations. Conduct site visits with potential clients, showcasing the property and its offerings. Follow up on all proposals to maximize conversion rates and secure bookings. Event Coordination Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and preferences, ensuring a seamless handover to the operations team. Collaborate with internal departments, including F&B and operations, to coordinate all aspects of events. Update and maintain event documentation, including banquet event orders (BEOs) and client correspondence. Revenue & Reporting Work towards achieving monthly and annual revenue targets for MICE. Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities for growth. Maintain accurate records of bookings, inquiries, and conversions in the CRM system. Customer Service & Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business. Address and resolve any client concerns or issues promptly and professionally. Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and industry functions as required. Additional Responsibilities Support the room reservations department whenever required. Be knowledgeable about the hotel, including its facilities, services, and unique offerings, to assist clients and guests effectively. Requirements Previous experience in MICE sales or event coordination, preferably within a luxury or 5-star hotel environment. Knowledge of event planning processes and hotel operations.
