This post is a fixed term position to support a Maternity cover for 12 months initially. As a Contracts Support Officer, you will: Get involved in changes to contracts, including reviewing and advising on disputes. Bring to life the impact of contractual changes in a way that's easy for stakeholders to understand. Support the continued growth of the organisation through the mobilisation of new contracts Empower operational teams to become high performers in existing contracts. Support contract management conversations with commissioners & relevant stakeholders. Reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager, this role is essential in supporting multi-disciplinary teams and key stakeholders with key deliverables such as commissioning strategies and policies, NHS Contracting and the NHS Payment Scheme guidance. The postholder will support with the contract management cycle, contract negotiation, and the mobilisation of new contracts in the healthcare sector, commissioned by NHS providers, local authorities, and independent sector providers. About You: We're looking for a professional, enthusiastic and highly focussed individual, ideally with experience of contract management. Whilst previous experience is desirable, it is essential that you have a high level of diligence and attention to detail. You'll be able to demonstrate: A clear and confident communication style across multiple platforms. Strong negotiation skills. Proficiency across a suite of IT platforms. Good commercial acumen and an understanding of how similar businesses may operate. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data. A proactive & dynamic approach to work.
