Business Development Executive / Customer Success Manager Role
You would be contacting existing and sometimes new external customers to identify their business needs for GIS. The success of our customers is central to our growth, and we aim to act as their trusted partners to help them get the best out of GIS.
Day to day you will be involved in:
* Helping our customers maximise the benefits of GIS, and promoting and developing its use in their organisations.
* Acting as a trusted advisor, taking ownership of any potential issues and working with Esri colleagues to resolve them for the client.
* Identifying any potential opportunities with our customers to extend the use of GIS software and services.
* Maintaining the customer's existing spend on our products.
* Building rapport, trust and long-term relationships with relevant staff at all levels within the customer organisation.
This would be a great career move if you:
* Ideally have some B2B sales experience or customer facing experience.
* Have good interpersonal skills, so you can develop strong working relationships with both clients and colleagues.
* Have transferable experience and skills; we will train you to be successful.
* Are a self-starter, with the ability to motivate yourself to succeed.
* Some knowledge of GIS (geographical information systems) or an aptitude for IT/technology would help but is not essential. We will teach you about our software products and how to identify customer needs and opportunities.
* Are a good listener, so you can ensure customer issues are correctly explored, understood and resolved.
