Job Title: SEND Learning Support Assistant
Location: Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan
Salary: £76.92 per day (increasing to £96.00 per day after 12 weeks)
Start Date: ASAP
Position: Full Time and part time 08:30 – 15:30
Requirements: Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one. EWC registered as a School Learning Support Worker.
About the role:
We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic experienced SEND Learning Support Assistants to work in one of our SEND Schools, where the pupils range from 3-19 years. A strong understanding of the needs of learners with ALN and/or social, emotional, and mental health needs is advantageous. Candidates with mainstream experience, care/support worker backgrounds, and experience with children in different settings are encouraged to apply, as skills can be transferable.
We seek individuals who can engage with a variety of Curriculum areas and activities, helping our pupils enjoy life-affirming experiences. Recognizing the importance of both high support and high challenge is essential. If you think that’s you, please do get in touch.
