About the role
What are we looking for
We are currently recruiting a Nursery Assistant to support a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 basis.
The post is 15 hours per week and will include producing the necessary paperwork.
The timetable is 5 hours a week, 9.30am-2. 50pm Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, all year round.
You will be working with a child with ASD.
The ideal candidate would have experience working with children with special needs.
The Candidate will:
1. Have empathy with Children and be sympathetic to their needs
2. Demonstrate good communication skills and be able to clarify instructions clearly
3. Be professionally discreet and able to respect confidentiality on different issues
4. Understand Safeguarding Procedures
This position is subject to an enhanced DBS Check.
