Field Application Engineer – EV & Second Life Battery Segment
Are you passionate about electric vehicles, second-life battery applications, and the transition to a more sustainable energy future? We are looking for enthusiastic, hands-on individuals to join our team as Field Application Engineer in the rapidly growing EV and Second Life Battery segment.
Whether you're a recent graduate from any academic background or a junior engineer ready to accelerate your career in the battery and clean-tech industry, this role offers an excellent starting point.
No prior battery experience? No problem. We provide full training to candidates who demonstrate curiosity, commitment, and a passion for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Service Delivery & Technical Support: Visit customer sites to perform battery testing, generate reports, and support the optimization of EV and second-life battery systems.
2. Customer Engagement: Build strong client relationships, understand technical needs, and deliver solutions that enhance performance and satisfaction.
3. Sales & Business Development: Identify new leads, assist in business acquisition, and contribute to revenue growth across the battery technology segment.
4. Participate in structured training and hands-on sessions to gain deep domain knowledge and field service experience.
5. Work closely with sales, engineering, and product teams to share insights and support innovation based on customer feedback.
Who We’re Looking For:
1. Recent graduates from any discipline (Engineering, Science, Technology, Business, etc.) with a strong interest in EVs and battery systems.
2. Junior professionals (1–2 years' experience) looking to grow within the clean energy and mobility sector.
3. Great communicators with a customer-first mindset and a knack for solving problems.
4. Self-motivated individuals comfortable with traveling to customer sites across the UK.
5. Curious, adaptable, and ready to work in a fast-moving, hands-on environment.
