As our Assistant Project Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting our Project Managers to deliver critical systems, structures, and components within a nuclear power plant programme. You'll gain hands-on experience working on high-impact projects, ensuring the successful execution of key contracts while developing your skills in a dynamic and highly collaborative environment. You may also be given your own projects to manage with the support of the Senior Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* A solid background in Engineering or Mechanical engineering.
* Demonstrate achievements in engineering design, procurement, construction, and commissioning for project delivery.
* Comfortable managing a multi-disciplinary team made up of Engineers or Managers from different disciplines to achieve project targets.
* Experience leading a team with diverse backgrounds, driving them to success.
* Technical understanding to specify requirements and provide guidelines for project delivery.
* Capability and curiosity to learn new things and adapt to complex project environments.
* Proficiency with analytical software such as Microsoft Office, and other tools to manage complex spreadsheets and create detailed reports to support project decision-making.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Previous engineering or project management experience in the nuclear industry.
* Experience in high safety and quality required environments (such as Oil & Gas, MoD, etc).
* Formal Project Management experience.
* Formal project management qualification would be a plus.

Work Environment:
Sizewell C Limited will be moving offices from 90 Whitfield Street to 25 Copthall Avenue. 25 Copthall Avenue is a modern building just a short walk from Moorgate and Liverpool Street stations. Sizewell C will occupy the whole of the 4th floor. We are targeting a move in February 2025. This role will be contractually based at 25 Copthall Avenue. However, depending on the date of the move, there may be a period that you will be required to work temporarily from our existing office at 90 Whitfield Street.
