This is a great opportunity for someone with Environmental Health or Community Safety experience to push forward the Council’s safety agenda and provide you with a challenge to create a contemporary service that will play a critical role in protecting the public.
This is a varied and impactful role where you’ll manage our responsibilities in the areas of environmental health and community safety, which includes aspects such as food safety, health and safety, industrial pollution, nuisance, envirocrime, private housing enforcement, contaminated land, air quality, water quality, caravan site licensing and more.
You’ll be improving services, policies and procedures and developing and motivating the team to make the Environmental Health and Community Safety Team the best team of its kind.
