About the Role An exciting opportunity has become available for a Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our service in Canterbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for the cleaning duties of the premises. Principle duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to: General office and clinic rooms cleaning as well as communal areas inclusive of kitchens, bathrooms, staff rooms and waiting areas. Stock control and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies. Following colour coded infection control system. Person Specification To be friendly, approachable and presentable. Good communication. Good organisational skills and time management. To be responsible, reliable and trustworthy. Good attention to detail. The ability to work independently and as part of a small team. To be driven and take pride in your work. The successful candidate will be required to have excellent attention to detail, be thorough in their approach to cleaning and be mindful of infection control. Although there are no hazardous substances in use, they will be required to be knowledgeable of Health and Safety at Work legislation such as COSHH and manual handling.
