Job Description:
Disability Support Services Administration Assistant (Temporary, Maternity Cover)
The Role: Our client based in Newry is seeking a person to provide administration support across the Disability Support Services programme as required by the Programme Manager or DSS Administrator.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist with the collation and checking of all programme documentation (DSS10s).
2. Track and save consent forms and trainee reviews.
3. Assist the Programme Officer with the recording and saving of trainee information on the PowerApp.
4. Track and record staff training (Me-Learning).
5. Provide update reports to programme staff for reviews, Me-Learning, and consent forms.
6. Assist with the recruitment process - Interviews / Inductions.
7. Provide additional assistance to Programme Manager, Officer, and HR team as required.
General Duties:
1. Adhere to 'Code of Conduct', maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and quality standards across all work practices and interactions.
2. Perform job duties in compliance with policies and procedures, including adherence to equal opportunities, health and safety legislation, and data protection requirements.
3. Demonstrate commitment through the completion of all tasks allocated by attending staff and development opportunities to ensure that professional competency is maintained.
4. Ensure that all safeguarding procedures are followed as outlined in the safeguarding manual.
Qualifications Required:
G.C.S.E's at Grade C or equivalent, including English and Maths.
Skills & Competencies:
1. Highly proficient in using ICT with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint).
2. Ability to drive and access to own car.
3. Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
4. Good team player and able to work independently.
5. Can-do attitude.
6. Professional and punctual.
7. Customer service focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Experience in an administrative role.
9. Experience of SharePoint maintenance.
10. Experience of developer functions (i.e., Macros and pivot tables).

Hours:
Full-time hours (35hrs per week)
Salary:
£25,407 per annum
