Are you a registered nurse, passionate about delivering a gold-standard service to patients receiving enteral care? If yes, then we have the job for you. Here at Bionical Health, we are looking for a patient-focused nurse to join our team as a Community Enteral Nurse. In this role, you will be empowering newly referred NHS patients to manage their enteral feeding within the comfort of their own homes, as well as upskilling care workers to support PEG and NG tube fed patients.
Main Duties of the Job
1. This is an autonomous role where you will manage your own diary and patient case load to ensure patient requirements are fulfilled.
2. You will be working with patients to coach and train them to effectively manage their own enteral care.
3. You will be communicating with patients to highlight and overcome any mental barriers and concerns they are experiencing, as well as providing information around hygiene and infection control.
4. You will be troubleshooting any problems the patient may be facing with the pump both in person or over the phone/video call, and doing NG tube changes when required.

£31,500 per annum + 45p per mile
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Able to demonstrate a friendly and approachable nature.
* Prior community experience is preferential but not essential.
* You must be happy to cover large territories.
* Enteral nursing experience would be beneficial.
* You must be confident in using technology and different Microsoft applications.
* Excellent communication skills to confidently liaise with patients, families, and healthcare practitioners.
* Be independent, self-motivated, and able to manage your own diary with minimal supervision.
