Job Description
Our client, a leading commercial law firm, is seeking an Employment Solicitor with 1-4 years PQE to join their esteemed team. What you'll do:
As an Employment Solicitor, you will;
* Manage your own caseload across both contentious and non-contentious work areas
* Work collaboratively with partner leads and colleagues across all offices
* Support on training and client relationship management
* Provide advice on employee relations matters including internal disciplinary/grievance/capability processes
* Review policies and procedures and contracts
* Advise on equalities obligations
* Conduct or support on Employment Tribunals
* Advise on TUPE processes including inputting into drafting of commercial agreements
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Employment Solicitor role will bring.
* Broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment experience
* Case management of complex ET claims
* Experience in advising on employee relations issues including settlement negotiations
* Experience in reviewing/drafting policies
* Contractual and policy advice skills
* Experience in advising on restructures/redundancy processes and TUPE issues
