To support increasing customer demand, we are currently seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager to supervise the operations and responsibilities of the warehouse team, as well as working with leadership to make sure our company and customer standards of service, quality, safety, and productivity are met.
Shift Pattern:
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Shift Manager at Lineage is ensuring transport schedules, productivity targets, KPIs, and quality standards are delivered to meet or exceed the requirements of the customers and being cost-effective.
2. Strive for continuous improvement and challenge “Status Quo”. Shift Manager is actively involved in all site workstreams: H&S Meetings, You Said We Did, Engagement Events, Quality Committee, Transport Meetings, Internal and External Audits, New Customers Onboarding.
3. Supervise, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
4. Manage operational procedures to include the incoming and outgoing shipments, handle the organisation of merchandise, and maintain warehouse inventory.
5. Track and send reports to designated plant personnel.
6. Track warehouse activities including sales, record control, and purchasing to ensure availability of products.
7. Ensure accidents are investigated according to the company’s accident investigation procedures.
8. Assist with resolving employee concerns and maintain open lines of communication with all levels of the organisation.
What we are looking for:
9. Someone who has previous experience within a similar warehouse management or supervisory position.
10. A person who has worked with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
11. You to be able to communicate clearly with other team members in English.
12. Due to limited public transport, this location is not accessible easily so you must hold valid licence and have access to your own vehicle.
