To help us achieve this, we are recruiting for a PMO Manager.
The role
We are looking for someone with strong PMO experience and ideally in creating the function across multiple departments with a focus on Project Delivery. The PMO Manager plays a critical role in coordinating communication and information across the organisation that impacts project delivery. This role will focus on medium to long-term planning, risk management and contributing content to the submission of bid responses for new LEVI funded work.
What you'll be responsible for:
Information Management & Communications
1. Providing the Head of Delivery with key information about the progress of all opportunities, from the bid stage through to handover of CP assets into Live Service under the management of Field Services.
2. Communicating Delivery Project KPIs across the company, ensuring alignment and transparency in project performance and delivery metrics.
3. Managing delivery information, ensuring absolute clarity of deliverables and project status across all stages of the delivery process.
4. Ensuring Risks and Issues are managed appropriately, and mitigation strategies are progressed to conclusion.
PMO Team Management
1. Managing and leading the PMO team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
2. Ensuring the PMO team has the necessary resources, skills, and support to succeed in their roles.
Change Management Support
1. Supporting the Programme Manager throughout the change process, ensuring that any potential contractual or budget changes are identified early and communicated effectively within char.gy.
Training on Project Management Tools & Techniques
1. Delivering training on project management tools, techniques, and best practices to ensure teams are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to manage projects effectively.
You will suit this role if you:
1. Are an outstanding communicator, able to effectively use both written and verbal communication to engage with a diverse audience across all Delivery stakeholders.
2. Have a proven track record of creating and leading a successful PMO.
3. Are a project management professional with strong skills in MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
4. Are an effective manager and leader, providing coaching and mentoring to help individuals reach their full potential.
5. Have experience working in a PMO related to Small Works contracts.
6. Understand the dynamics of working with Local Governments.
7. Have experience with tools such as Salesforce, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
