Contract Manager - Mechanical FM Projects

Are you an accomplished Contract Manager with expertise in Mechanical Facilities Management? Do you thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and have a passion for overseeing contracts in mechanical services, including HVAC, heating, ventilation, and plumbing, across multiple sites?
We are looking for a proactive and results-focused Contract Manager to take charge of a portfolio of mechanical FM contracts across London and the South East. This pivotal role will ensure the effective delivery of contracts, financial efficiency, and client satisfaction, while leading a highly skilled team of engineers and supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract & Financial Management: Oversee compliance, monitor financial performance, manage variations, and support credit control processes.
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of engineers, ensuring KPIs and service targets are consistently met.
Client Relationship Management: Serve as the key point of contact for clients, ensuring the highest level of service delivery and long-term contract retention.
Technical Oversight: Provide hands-on guidance and support on mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and best practices.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all works are carried out in line with health and safety legislation, risk assessments, and method statements.
Resource Planning: Oversee staffing levels, recruitment, and training to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong leadership and communication abilities with a proven track record in managing FM contracts.
Extensive experience in mechanical services (HVAC, heating, plumbing, ventilation).
Knowledgeable in PPM and reactive maintenance within FM environments.
Financially astute, with the ability to manage budgets and drive contract profitability.
NEBOSH/IOSH qualifications (desirable).
