Job Description
As a credit controller, you will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing client accounts and identifying outstanding debts
2. Investigating historical data for debts and bills
3. Taking actions to encourage timely payments
4. Processing payments and refunds
5. Resolving billing issues
6. Reporting on collection activity and accounts receivable status
7. Collaborating with the accounting department
8. Understanding and adhering to financial regulations and legislation
The Successful Applicant
A successful credit controller should have:
1. Excellent knowledge of billing procedures
2. Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
3. Strong communication and negotiation skills
4. Good organisational skills
5. Experience in a similar role
