Commissioning Engineer
Location: Peterborough, PE2 6YN (Primary location - customers sites.)
Salary: Up to £45k (Subject to Experience).
Contract: Full time, permanent.

Commissioning Engineer – About the role:
Do you love travelling around the UK and helping people use technology to improve food safety? Join our team of smart, dedicated engineers automating food manufacturing. If you’re a team player with great people skills and attention to detail, you can help us automate the food industry. From day one, you’ll be fully immersed in projects and will very quickly become a valuable member of our team. You’ll travel all over the UK and get unique exposure to every food sector, from chilled to bakery to fresh produce.
Commissioning Engineer - Responsibilities:
1. Commissioning of projects at customer sites (either on own or as part of a team).
2. Working with other members of the team, and the company as a whole to ensure that projects are completed in a timely and professional manner.
3. Providing training to customers on applications and systems.
4. Production and maintenance of documentation, for use by the customer and OAL.
5. Responsible for fault reporting and implementation and testing of design modifications.
6. Providing support to the customer, the team, and other teams within OAL.
7. To work within agreed budgets/costs.
What We’re Looking For
• Has over 5 years in a similar role.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Ready to lead projects both in-house and on-site.
• Happy to travel and spend time at food manufacturing sites across the UK, more than 50%.
