Driveshaft Mechanical Fitter We are an engineering firm based in Kilmarnock and are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team. The role involves working directly on the production line. We are looking for full time applicants to apply for this post, and will provide training to assist your development in the role. We will also consider applications from candidates looking for part time working hours. The main responsibilities and preferred experience are as follows: - The ability to communicate well with fellow members of the workshop to ensure the workflow you are responsible for progresses well. - Previous experience as a mechanical fitter or experience of Manual/Automated Machining and Balancing. - Welding experience and qualifications. - Customer facing for jobs being dropped off and collected. - Experience of preparing products for shipment in a manufacturing environment. Experience which would be beneficial but is not necessary: - Forklift licence. - Painting experience in a spray booth environment. - Experience of working with cylinders.
