Responsibilities
Speciality Doctor
Salary – £105,504 - £139,882 (pro rata)
Hours – 20hrs, 5 sessions per week (delivered over 5 days, negotiable)
Location – Mirfield, Huddersfield and remotely

Are you passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centred care to older adults? Do you thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment where your expertise can make a real difference?
We have an opportunity for a dedicated and experienced doctor to join our team, supporting complex older patients in a community bed base setting. You will work within our multidisciplinary team, including ACPs, nurses, and other allied healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide medical assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for older patients with complex care needs.
* Work closely with nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and other allied health professionals and stakeholders to deliver holistic patient care.
* Lead and contribute to case discussions, patient reviews, and care planning within the multidisciplinary team.
* Collaborate with families and carers to ensure they are supported and involved in the care process.
* Promote a culture of continuous learning and quality improvement.
* Ensure comprehensive documentation and communication across teams.
Skills & Qualifications:
* MBBS or equivalent qualification.
* Full registration with GMC and licence to practice.
* At least 1 year experience in geriatric medicine or a related field, particularly in community or hospital settings.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
* A holistic, patient-centred approach to care.
* Ability to work autonomously while also seeking guidance when necessary.
* Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
