Senior/Principal Drainage Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £65,000I'm working with a well-established independent consultancy known for its integrated approach to infrastructure design. Due to a growing portfolio of development and infrastructure schemes, they're looking to appoint an experienced Senior or Principal Drainage Engineer to join their Christchurch team.Key Responsibilities:
Produce Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy Reports to support planning applications
Undertake drainage and levels design using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microdrainage/Flow
Lead client engagement and manage third-party relationships
Prepare fee proposals and support business development
Attend meetings, public consultations, and site visits
Collaborate with internal teams, including environmental specialists, on design and CEMPs
What They're Looking For:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, or similar (minimum 2:1)
Proficient in relevant design software and technical report writing
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
Strong communication skills with a commercial mindset
Ideally working towards or already holding IEng/CEng status
