Flourish Education is currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to support a child on a 1-1 basis within a Year 4 class. This child has Autism and ADHD, so experience with SEND is essential. This position is a full-time, long-term position starting ASAP and continuing until the end of the academic year. As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide 1-1 support for a child in Year 4 with Autism and ADHD. Assist the Class Teacher with daily lesson activities. Follow and implement SEND strategies to support learning and development. Work closely with the Primary School SENCO to ensure effective support. Encourage the child's social and emotional development within the classroom. Support the wider class when required as a TA. Required Skills and Experience: Previous experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant, TA, or similar role in a UK Primary School. Experience supporting children with Autism and ADHD. Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and Key Stage 2 (KS2). Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff. A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare or SEND support.
