As part of their growth strategy, they’re looking for a proactive and dynamic Business Development Manager to join their team.
About You:
You are a results-driven professional with a proven track record in business development, ideally within the corporate event services sector. You’re highly skilled at identifying new business opportunities, building relationships, and driving sales. You thrive on securing new clients and working collaboratively to ensure the delivery of exceptional proposals and pitches.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospecting & Relationship Building: Identify and engage with potential new clients, particularly medium-sized and blue-chip organizations. Develop strong, long-lasting relationships with decision-makers.
2. Client Engagement & Meetings: Schedule and attend client meetings, where you'll gather requirements, identify needs, and build rapport to convert prospects into new business opportunities.
3. Proposal Creation & Pitching: Work closely with Account Managers and Technical Managers to create tailored, high-quality proposals that meet client requirements. Guide the process of developing technical and commercial proposals.
4. Winning New Business: Drive the entire sales process from initial contact to closing, ensuring client expectations are exceeded and new contracts are secured.
5. CRM Management: Maintain up-to-date records of all client interactions, pipeline activities, and sales progress in the company’s CRM system.
6. Collaborative Sales Strategy: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, account management, and technical staff, to refine and implement sales strategies that align with company goals.
7. Market Research & Networking: Continuously identify market trends, opportunities, and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry and create compelling sales strategies.
What You’ll Bring:
1. Experience: At least 3-5 years of proven success in business development, ideally within the events, production, or creative services industries.
2. Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. You’re a strategic thinker with the ability to close high-value deals.
3. Sales Mindset: You have a proactive, results-driven approach and an entrepreneurial spirit. You’re highly organized and capable of managing multiple opportunities at once.
4. Collaborative: A team player with the ability to work across departments to deliver exceptional proposals and client solutions.
