Salary: £35,000 to £50,000 (depending on experience)
Our client, a privately owned leading Build Environment Consultancy, is looking for an experienced Retrofit Coordinator to join their growing team in Manchester. You will engage in large-scale social housing regeneration projects that include the implementation of multiple energy efficiency measures.
You will be part of a cross-collaborative practice and be able to grow your knowledge of the build environment, with the retrofit team collaborating closely with various in-house disciplines, including architecture, sustainability, engineering, building surveying, and more.
We have opportunities for both newly Level 5 Retrofit Coordination & Risk Management qualified candidates and experienced candidates.
Core Responsibilities:
* Overseeing the retrofit process from beginning to end, collaborating closely with our client's in-house or external retrofit assessors, retrofit designers, and contractors.
* Protecting the client's and the public's interests by ensuring that projects are safe, high-quality, and operate to their full potential.
* Ensuring adequate team integration and communication throughout the project's life cycle, as well as PAS2035 compliance.
* Performing energy modelling and creating Improvement Option Evaluations and Medium Term Plans for a variety of properties across projects.
* Ensuring that projects comply with PAS2035, PAS2030, and the relevant DESNZ funding requirements.
* Providing regular project progress updates and feedback to key stakeholders at planned meetings and ensuring that important performance metrics are tracked.
* Providing guidance on energy efficiency methods that will respond to client objectives such as enhancing energy efficiency performance, reducing carbon emissions, and lowering fuel expenses.
* Communicating with primary external stakeholders such as social housing providers, asset managers, contractors, and diverse clients.
* Collecting relevant documents, such as retrofit evaluation data, technical surveys, insurance guarantees, and more, in accordance with PAS2035 and PAS2030 compliance.
Requirements:
* Comprehensive understanding of AS2035 processes, including producing Improvement Option Evaluations and Medium Term Plans & lodging work with Trustmark.
* Previous experience working in a consultancy environment and/or background in retrofit-related projects.
* Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office software, especially MS Project, and comfortable learning new technologies such as AirTable.
* Must have a driving license to be able to undertake site visits when necessary.
* Experience and/or understanding of PAS2035 processes, including producing Improvement Option Evaluations and Medium Term Plans & lodging work with Trustmark.
