This role goes beyond traditional reporting, focusing on hands-on data analysis and building robust analytics models that directly support critical business objectives. In this key position, you’ll explore Virgin Atlantic’s data ecosystem, leveraging advanced analytical techniques to identify patterns, trends, and business-critical insights with precision and rigor. Your strong coding and analytical skills will empower you to mentor analysts across various directorates, enhance their technical capabilities, and align analytics strategies with broader business goals—all while managing diverse stakeholders. You’ll work closely with data engineering, data product, data science, and technology teams to ensure seamless integration of data extraction and analysis with our technical infrastructure. Day to Day Support the development of the company's analytics strategy and lead the implementation of advanced analytics projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyse business requirements. Develop and manage a team of analysts to deliver actionable insights and recommendations within each project. Drive the development and enhancement of data models, algorithms, and statistical techniques. Facilitate the seamless completion of analytics projects while offering guidance on effective approaches. Compete in the market by staying up to date with the latest advancements in analytics technologies and applied methodologies. About You Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing data analytics projects and driving business outcomes. Strong experience in data analytics, including data manipulation, visualisation, and statistical analysis. Exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organisation. Strict attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as Information Technology, Data Science or Mathematics.
