Job Title: Document Controls Assistant
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £ p/hr (equivalent to £34,000 per annum)
About the Role: NRL are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controls Assistant to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, tracking, and maintaining company documents and records, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the management and control of company documents, ensuring they are accurately recorded, stored, and retrieved as needed.
2. Create, update, and maintain electronic and physical document repositories for engineering documents on each project.
3. Assign document identification numbers and assist the engineering team with version control.
4. Review documents for presentational accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company and client standards prior to issue to third parties.
5. Maintain document control systems, including version control and distribution.
6. Support project teams by providing accurate and up-to-date documentation.
7. Ensure compliance with document control policies and procedures.
8. Coordinate the review and approval process for controlled documents.
9. Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
10. Provide administrative support as required, including filing, scanning, and updating records.
Requirements:
11. Previous experience in document control or administrative support is desirable.
12. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
13. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
14. Familiarity with document management systems (DMS) is an advantage.
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
16. Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with various departments.
This is on site position, based out of our clients Birmingham office.

40 hours a week
