Key Responsibilities: - Develop Migration Strategy: Work closely with the client to define a clear, step-by-step roadmap for migrating SAP ECC Payroll to S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with business needs and minimizing operational disruption. - Architect Migration Solutions: Provide expert insights and design recommendations on how to best approach payroll system migration, including technical architecture, system requirements, and data migration strategies. - Risk and Fraud Management Considerations: Incorporate SAP Fraud and Risk Management best practices into the migration plan, ensuring payroll data security, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance. - Assess Current System: Analyse the client’s existing ECC payroll system, integrations, customizations, and data structure to identify potential challenges, risks, and opportunities for optimization during migration. - Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business, technical, and leadership teams to gather requirements, set priorities, and ensure that all stakeholders are aligned on the migration goals, timelines, and resource needs. - Documentation and Roadmap: Prepare a detailed migration roadmap and approach document that outlines key phases, timelines, risk mitigation strategies, and resource requirements for a successful S/4HANA payroll migration. - Data Management and Integrity: Ensure that the migration strategy accounts for data accuracy, compliance, and historical payroll records, while considering the use of SAP data migration tools. - Technology Guidance: Advise on technology options, S/4HANA features, and SAP Fiori enhancements that can improve payroll processes and support future scalability. - Compliance and Governance: Provide recommendations for governance frameworks to manage and monitor the migration process, ensuring compliance with both internal policies and external regulations. Experience - 10 years of experience working with SAP HCM/Payroll, with significant expertise in SAP ECC Payroll and S/4HANA systems. - Proven experience in solution architecture for large-scale SAP migrations, including creating detailed roadmaps and strategy documents for transitioning from ECC to S/4HANA. - Strong understanding of SAP Payroll processes, integration points, and data migration requirements. - Knowledge of SAP Fraud and Risk Management and its application in ensuring secure and compliant payroll migration. - Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on creating innovative and efficient migration strategies. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and working with senior stakeholders. - Ability to articulate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: - SAP certification in S/4HANA or Payroll. - Experience with global payroll systems and supporting multi-country migrations. - Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors or third-party HR systems integration. - Experience developing governance frameworks for data compliance and risk management in SAP migrations.
