The Sycamore Church of England Trust are seeking to appoint a proactive and highly organised administrator to join our Trust, based at Holy Trinity CE Primary School. You will be expected to provide routine general administrative and financial support to the school. As the first point of contact, you will provide an efficient and professional front of house service for the school, whether face to face, over email or telephone. You should have experience in operating online systems or have the necessary skills to be able to learn and become highly confident in the use of multiple systems (for example, our MIS system, website, absence monitoring etc). Confident and proficient in the use of Microsoft applications, you will produce letters, reports, and operate relevant packages such as Excel to a high standard. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Trust within a vital and varied role. While school experience is desirable, this is an ideal prospect to apply previous administrative experience within an education setting where your role will impact upon raising outcomes for children.
For an informal chat regarding the role please contact either Emma McCormick or Alison Knott on 0161 764 2993. The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We will ensure that our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment. All successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure Barring Service checks along with other relevant employment checks, including references. All application forms should be emailed to recruitment@thesycamoretrust.co.uk by 9am on Monday 27th January 2024. Please note that no CVs will be accepted. Shortlisting will take place on Tuesday 28th January with interviews scheduled for Monday 3rd February. In line with safer recruitment, please ensure that your application covers your full employment history and there is a reason noted for any gaps in employment. Successful candidates will be asked to provide relevant references for the past ten years and character references will not be accepted. The above post will be subject to an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Services.
