Closing date: 4th December 2024
We create great places to live that our customers are proud to call home.
It’s an exciting time to be joining us. We own or manage around 7,000 homes across North Somerset, Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire and in Sedgemoor. We have a diverse housing portfolio in terms of age and type, which we are continuing to grow by circa 200 homes a year through our new home development programme.
We’re ambitious, creative and passionate about delivering results, with customers at the heart of our strategy. We are now looking for a dynamic leader to join our operational senior team working alongside the Chief Operating Officer, as we continue our repairs, maintenance and safety improvement journey.
With healthy financial capacity, and backed by a committed senior team and Board, there is a real opportunity to shape the future of our property operations.
As an experienced Senior Leader, you’ll be accountable for around 80 colleagues and the provision of safe, secure and well-maintained homes for our customers, ensuring we excel at delivering great service experiences.
We know that our operating environment is constantly changing, so you’ll be supporting the development of strategic plans and then leading their delivery.
As a self-starter and performance-driven leader, you’ll be comfortable with driving operational improvements that demonstrate value for money, increase customer satisfaction and ensure full legal compliance with landlord safety requirements.
By leading our repairs and maintenance service from the front, you’ll be an advocate for quality assurance and cost controls, safe and consistent systems of work, as well as data and reporting accuracy. You’ll be comfortable with collaboration, working with colleagues and stakeholders to solve problems and ensure key metrics are delivered.
You will also effectively lead and oversee property health and safety servicing compliance (M&E, Fire, Asbestos, etc) so you will have a detailed understanding of statutory landlord safety and preferably with a detailed understanding of the requirements of the Building Safety Act.
Above all, you’ll create a fair and inclusive workforce culture that celebrates differences, manages performance whilst also maximising colleague talent and potential.
You will have a CIH Level 5 qualification or be willing to work towards this when you join the team.
We review applications when received, so we may close the vacancy early if we find that perfect candidate. If the role interests you, then apply now.
