We are looking for an experienced colleague in finance and resource management, someone with an eye for detail to support the financial health and sustainability of our organisation. With a good understanding of financial management and reporting, along with great planning and administration skills, the successful candidate will coordinate all aspects of our income and payment processing, as well as overseeing essential people/HR processes with the support of our external advisors.
What You’ll Do
1. Support the development and oversight of the organisations budget.
2. Accurately record and process all income and expenditure.
3. Oversee banking transactions and bank reconciliation.
4. Develop our finance system to support accurate planning, recording and reporting.
5. Support the development of our annual reports.
6. Coordinate staff recruitment and support design of induction programmes for new staff.
7. Work with our external HR Advisor to develop our people policies and our electronic Staff Handbook.
8. Using our HR system, ensure effective monitoring and reporting of absence, leave and employment records.
9. Coordinate relationships with our employee support providers.

6. You will bring a keen interest in building and sharing knowledge, particularly in relation to good practice and to new policy.
7. You may have experience of managing third sector grant claims and financial reporting and/or of HR policy and administration.
