This is a part-time position working as the business administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and managing financial transactions for the business. You will ensure the seamless management of day-to-day operations, maintain accurate financial records within the accounting software and provide support to Senior Management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Answer phone calls, respond to emails and greet visitors
2. Add and manage all new enquiries in-house workflow system
3. Update and manage our social media accounts (Facebook / Instagram / TikTok)
4. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
5. Process invoices and payments, reconcile accounts
6. Process weekly sub-contractor pay and monthly PAYE
7. Prepare and process monthly Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) returns to HMRC through our accounting software (Xero)
8. Source new sub-contractors and suppliers as required by the business
9. Onboard new sub-contractors and suppliers
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as an Administrator and / or Bookkeeper
2. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
3. Excellent communication and organisation skills
4. Ability to work alone and to deadlines
5. Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively and efficiently
6. Attention to detail
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
8. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
