The Team
The Strategic Projects and Change team lead on the delivery of transformational change across the University. Managing a diverse portfolio of projects aligned with the University's strategy, the team play a pivotal role in driving the University to achieve its strategic objectives.
The Role
You will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of the University's submissions to Times Higher Education World Rankings and Impact Rankings, as well as the People and Planet University League. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to shape our institution's global reputation and influence.
Working alongside senior stakeholders from across the University, you will drive forward the identification and enhancement of datasets required for ranking submissions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will also lead in the development and implementation of robust processes that will embed annual ranking submissions into the University's business-as-usual operations.
Required Skills and Experience
You will have experience of tailoring project management principles and methodologies to effectively plan, execute, and oversee projects from inception to completion. You will have experience of business analysis, with a track record of devising and implementing efficient business processes.
Your interpersonal skills will be outstanding, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire others. You will excel in fostering collaboration, driving team performance, and achieving shared goals through negotiation, influence, and leadership.
Experience of project managing university rankings submissions would be desirable but is not essential.
