Job Details: JobMatcha are recruiting for someone who is a detailed, oriented and strategic ICT Buyer to join our clients procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing ICT/Overhead products and services to support our organisation’s needs. The Buyer will work closely with various departments to ensure that our procurement aligns with business objectives whilst delivering maximum value. Requirements for this role: Proven experience in procurement, preferably in this sector. Certification or working towards a certification in procurement (CIPS) or equivalent. Key Responsibilities: Sourcing and Procurement: Identify and evaluate suppliers of ICT and Overhead products and services, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible arrangements and maintain favourable relationships. Including the ability to draft robust frameworks and service level agreements when required. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of ICT/Overhead products, coordinating with internal teams to forecast needs and avoid shortages or excess stock. Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive pricing to make informed purchasing decisions. Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to enhance collaboration and improve service levels. Budget Management: Assist in the development of procurement budgets and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance metrics. Assist with third party when necessary to ensure compliance. Prepare regular reports for management review. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their needs and ensure timely delivery of products and services. Tenders: Assist when required with any tender support both locally and centrally.
