Girlswear Designer Wanted Location: London Salary to £30k depending on experience Bens We are working very closely to a mid-sized Childrenswear and womenswear supplier who produce out of the far east in central London who are looking to add a team member to a well-established team: The design will work across both high street retailers and supermarket accounts designing multi product childrenswear with a focus on girlswear As a designer you will be designing into briefs given by customers & buyers and producing own ranges for woven/jersey, knitwear, swim & special occasion as well as creating tech packs for costing, sampling, and production. You’ll also have a hand on with producing original prints and artworks/graphics. It will be part of your duties to be in communication with factories and suppliers to discuss fabrics, yarns, applications, and construction and conduct regular comp shopping and trend research to inform design decisions and identify emerging trends. You’ll be collaborating with the company’s sales teams and other departments to ensure alignment with customer expectations and brand strategy.
