Position Summary: JFC Civils is one of the largest Twinwall Pipe manufacturers in the UK Civils industry and we are growing our sales team. We are looking for a vibrant, high-energy person with a passion for selling to join our closely knit sales team. Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful candidate will join UK Civils Sales team where they will get full induction, product training and continuous on the job training. They will be responsible for meeting agreed sales targets and increasing the awareness of the JFC Brand. The role will be office based at our UK Sales office in Speke, Liverpool, L24 9HJ Key duties and responsibilities: · Take a pivotal, results driven role in the team to drive the achievement of the UK sales budget · Strong team player providing active, hands-on support for the external sales team · Identify new business opportunities with existing and new trade partners · Can-do, positive attitude, dealing with orders and enquiries for existing and new customers · Report sales progress via daily team call / quarterly sales meetings. · Document activities on CRM software, telephone calls, sales calls, order processing, quote raising, leads, case studies, faulty goods recording, collaboration of daily activities, project tracking, market and customer information. · Assist in the compilation of sales reports for the team. · Project manage large order values over extensive periods of time. · Carry out market research relating to market trends and changes to product sectors. · Effectively communicate market findings and customer insights to teammates and management. · Assist in the creation of marketing campaigns to support brand development. · There will be occasions where travel through the UK and Ireland to attend sales meetings, conferences, exhibitions and to develop strong communication links with the JFC UK Civils team and customers will be necessary. Desired Skills and Experience: · Minimum of two years’ experience in sales within the construction is desirable, with a strong ability to drive revenue growth and build long-term client relationships. · A third-level qualification in business, commerce, finance, or a related field is highly advantageous · Formal sales training is desirable · Exceptional telephone etiquette, professionalism, and a customer-centric approach, ensuring outstanding service and relationship management. · Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage clients, influence decisions, and deliver persuasive sales pitches. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and overcoming challenges. · Well-developed IT and administrative skills, including proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools. · Effective time management and task prioritization skills, enabling the ability to manage multiple clients and projects in a fast-paced environment. · An understanding of the Civils/Merchanting industry is highly advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided Successful candidate whilst in first instance be in a support role, they will have great opportunity to grow both individually via training or grow into a bigger role with the planned expansion of this business.
