About The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Manager to oversee the delivery of facilities management services on-site. This role requires effective leadership of site teams to ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, and quality management system (QMS) requirements. The Contract Manager will also be responsible for budget management and driving year-on-year profitability improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), ensuring issues are promptly resolved
* Maintain and update the PPM Management System (Planet) to reflect any changes
* Conduct quality audits of all site services and implement corrective actions as needed
* Perform Statutory Compliance Reviews as directed by the COO
* Provide expert guidance to operational teams, ensuring high standards in PPM and reactive tasks
* Ensure services meet budgetary requirements while improving cost efficiency
* Draft and manage site operational budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and increased profitability
* Oversee the performance of various on-site service teams, ensuring effective and compliant service delivery
* Manage and review expenditure, ensuring accurate invoice allocation
* Act as the primary liaison with site occupiers, promptly addressing any service-related concerns
* Lead the resolution of contractual disputes and negotiate effective solutions
* Conduct regular performance reviews, implementing development and corrective action plans
* Maintain asset value and statutory compliance through proactive site maintenance and service management
* Ensure zero unplanned downtime by effectively managing all on-site activities
* Identify and implement value-for-money strategies for service delivery
* Drive business development opportunities within and beyond the existing contract
* Oversee small works costing and project management as needed
* Uphold and role model company values at all times
About You:
* Proven experience in a similar contract management role
* Level 4 Facilities Management qualification (or equivalent)
* Experience managing multiple sites (10,000m²+), 50+ employees, and a £750K+ budget
* Strong leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing teams
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and analysis
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
* Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve problems effectively
* Resilient, adaptable, and able to work autonomously under pressure
* Extensive knowledge of hard and soft FM services
* Outstanding customer service and relationship management skills
