About Prestige Nursing & Care Bath
Our Bath branch consists of long-serving staff with vast knowledge of the area and our client base. Our goal is to provide the best quality of care possible and to embrace each carer and client into the Prestige family, working together to achieve our goals and values, and to make a difference to each other, our clients, and the families we support.
What our client is looking for
Our client is looking for reliable and outgoing support workers. She is a female adult with learning disabilities and requires access to the community by car. She has a blue badge to assist with parking and enjoys going out for breakfast and/or lunch regularly. Support is also required to attend medical appointments and assist with housework and gardening.
Previous experience with positive behaviour support would be advantageous (no physical behaviours).
Do you need experience?
Yes, for this particular role, experience as a support worker or care assistant is desirable; however, we consider applicants from a range of different support/care backgrounds as we offer full training.
What we offer:
* You will be paid the National Minimum Wage for all attended training sessions and shadow shifts.
* We offer the flexibility of either a zero-hour contract or contracted hours, whichever suits your lifestyle best.
* Work with our own clients, no agency work.
* Pension scheme.
* Blue light card.
* Enhanced Maternity/Paternity and Adoption schemes.
* Continued professional development to support you & your career.
* Holiday pay.
* Refer a friend with our ‘Care Friends’ App – T&C’s apply.
* Employee Assistance line – available 24/7 and fully confidential for our staff.
* Support from your local branch team and out-of-hours support.
We’re looking for:
* Excellent communication skills.
* A full UK driver’s licence.
* Good professional and personal references.
In line with CQC & Care Inspectorate regulations, we require and will undertake Enhanced DBS/PVG, Right to Work, Reference and Employment History checks in line with Government guidelines for this role and safer recruitment best practices.
While we endeavour to keep the recruitment process as short as possible, due to the nature of these important checks, there may be extensions to timelines.
All our clients are entitled to have their needs met in a safe, fair, and balanced way. Prestige Nursing & Care colleagues are responsible for promoting Equal Opportunities for all and for challenging any behaviour or practice that discriminates against any client or colleague on the grounds of race, religion, disability, age, gender, sexual orientation, identity, or any other perceived difference.
