Competitive pay rates Excellent location with transport links between Stockport, Congleton and Stoke-on-Trent Full-time role with immediate start upon registering with Teaching Personnel Responsibilities: Providing 1-1 or small group support to students in the classroom, helping to implement learning activities and assist with their progress Supporting students with specific learning needs and adapt activities to suit their requirements Assisting with the preparation of learning resources and classroom organisation Help the class teacher in managing behaviours, ensuring the schools behaviour policies are followed What we are looking for: Experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A good understanding of child development and different learning needs A relevant qualification in education or child development (e.g. level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is desirable but not essential Safeguarding Training (must be completed through Teaching Personnel) To be considered for this role, applicants must have a DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one upon registering with Teaching Personnel.
