Casual (Zero hour contract) Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour Location: Across Birmingham Museum sites We are currently seeking professional individuals to join the team as Casual Learning & Engagement Assistants across Birmingham Museum Trust sites, who can work flexibly to support the delivery of our school and public programme sessions. You will be part of a team delivering creative and inclusive engagement and museum learning activities, such as schools workshops or shows and activities for public audiences during school holidays You will support the Learning Team’s commitment to inspiring children and young people to engage with our amazing buildings. Our Team primarily delivers onsite at one of our nine museum sites but can also support occasionally with outreach. Our Team aims to engage with schools and visitors, develop audiences and contribute to income generation. These roles require a mandatory check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS check). Confident and outgoing, with excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences. Quick to learn new information with a good memory. A great team player and good timekeeper. A good understanding of safeguarding. A passion for delivering inspiring and engaging learning experiences.
