An opportunity has arisen for a first level registered mental health nurse to join the team based within the Clackmannanshire Mental Health Resource Centre and part of the Clacks and Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership. The Mental Health Resource Centre Team is a specialist service within secondary care psychiatry, which accepts referrals for adults with diagnoses of severe, enduring and complex mental illness. The team offers consultation and advice to a range of referrers. In collaboration with partner agencies and services the team provides multidisciplinary treatment and support including individualised care for adults with complex mental health needs. A range of specific individual and group interventions are provided as well as a Health Maintenance Service for those with severe mental illness and associated physical health monitoring needs The successful candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team and in collaboration with a range of partner services. They should be committed to the provision of high quality, patient focused care and able to adapt to changes in service delivery according to patient needs with a genuine interest in working within a community mental health setting. This post is for mental health nurses who are currently registered on the UK NMC register. The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
