About The Role
As the Cylinder Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, drawing and producing manufacturing information for Gas Cylinders, in accordance with regulatory requirements. You will offer a technical service on cylinder related matters to internal and external customers.
The Cylinder Design Engineer will draw on analytical and mathematical skills to design elements of cylinders and accessories.
They will provide accurate information to departments in the form of drawing, data sheets, marking instructions and product listings, and assist the Sales department by creating Bills of Materials in SAP for sales parts.
Based at our manufacturing site in Colwick, Nottingham, you’ll be employed on a permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week.
What will I need, to be considered for this opportunity?
* Educated to degree level in an Engineering subject (or equivalent)
* Demonstrable experience of AutoCAD and Autodesk inventor (or equivalent)
* Experience with working to technical design codes and standards
* Good communication skills (Written and Verbal)
* Ability to work to high quality standards, with excellent attention to detail.
* Must be able to work to time scales
* SAP experience is desirable
