Description
* Manage a varied portfolio of clients across different sectors, serving as their primary point of contact for accounting and business advisory services
* Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, and financial reports for SMEs and larger corporate clients
* Lead client meetings, identify business improvement opportunities, and provide strategic financial advice
* Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, overseeing workflow and ensuring high-quality service delivery
* Contribute to practice development through identifying new service opportunities and supporting business development initiatives
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality procedures
* Work closely with Partners on complex client matters and special projects
Profile
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience
* Demonstrable experience at Manager level within a practice environment
* Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and financial reporting requirements
* Excellent client relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and rapport
* Team leadership experience with proven ability to develop others
* Commercial awareness and the ability to provide value-added advice to clients
* Experience with accounting software packages including Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
