The role requires a meticulous individual with an aptitude for numbers and a keen interest in the FMCG industry. Description Purchase ledger and Sales ledger responsibilities Forecast revenue and expenses Report on financial status on a regular basis and create ad-hoc reports when needed Collaborate with the accounting team to prepare budget reports Ensure all financial operations comply with governmental rules and regulations Help with tax audits and tax returns Support the Accounting & Finance department by completing administrative tasks as required Profile A successful Accounts Assistant should have: A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with accounting software Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team Job Offer An attractive hourly rate of £13 to £16 Great exposure to the Technology & Telecoms industry Opportunity to work in a supportive and professional team environment Located in the easily accessible location of Peterborough
