What’s the Role About?
The successful candidate will join our growingaudit team in Leatherhead. Reporting directly to an audit Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the progress of audit assignments from planning through to completion. You will also be reviewing the work of junior colleagues as well as coaching and supporting them in their development. Our audit engagements may take place remotely or on client sites, so you will utilise a range of technological solutions in addition to your people skills to deliver a quality service, on time and on budget, working in collaboration with the wider audit team to delight our clients.
What we’re looking for
Are you anACA/ACCA qualified accountantwith at leastfive years’ experiencein an accountancy practice? We’re looking for a professional with astrong technical understandingof accounting and auditing standards, capable of leadinggroup auditsand preparingconsolidated accounts. You’ll needexcellent communication skillsto build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues, and the ability to managecomplex projectsand multiple stakeholders effectively. Proficiency withCaseWareorMercia methodologiesis a plus.
You should producehigh-quality work, anticipate and resolve issues early to maintain budgets, and identify opportunities for growth within the client base. Strongorganisational skillsare essential for prioritising high volumes of work, and you’ll take an active role inmentoring and supportingthe team. The role is based inLeatherhead, with travel to client premises in the surrounding areas.
